Journalists Get a Chance to Feel the Power

A unique darts competition exclusively for journalists will take place before this year’s World Darts Championship, with the top two winners playing in a one off doubles match with van Barneveld and Taylor.

Press Gazette editor Dominic Ponsford said: ?Last year?s PDC final between van Barneveld and Taylor was one of the most gripping darts contests ever seen on TV. The chance to throw arrows with these two legends is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.?

There will also be free bet prizes of ?250 and ?200 and two tickets for each of the winners to the semi-finals of this year?s championship.

To enter, you must be able to prove you are a journalist and are able to play darts to a good standard.

Places in the tournament will be limited to 32 and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to players who meet the qualifying criteria.

Closing date is November 12 – click here to visit the Press Gazette page for an entry form.
