Gary Anderson Wins British Open, Has Won Three Majors in a Row

Following his latest triumph in the BDO British Open, Scotland?s Gary Anderson is in seemingly unstoppable form, having won three major darts titles in succession over a six month period in 2007. He was crowned Topic International Darts League Champion in May, and has now won both the Bullit World Darts Trophy and BDO British Open in September.

Darts News: The player nicknamed ?Dreamboy? is certainly living the darts dream, and these victories, plus the Scottish Open and Portland Open titles this year, confirm his position as WDF and BDO World No.1.

The Women?s Singles final was won by Russian sensation ANASTASIA DOBROMYSLOVA, who beat England?s DEE BATEMAN 3-1.

Anastasia has now completed a BDO ?double? this year by winning both the BDO England and British Open titles.

The Men?s Pairs Champions were EDWIN MAX and MARIO ROBBE (Netherlands) and the Women?s Pairs Champions were APYLEE JONES and HEATHER BUSBY (England).
