Lewis, Waites, and King Through to Second Round of WDT

Adrian Lewis defeated John Walton, Scott Waites won over James Wade, and Mervyn King defeated Colin Lloyd in the Sunday Evening session of the World Darts Trophy.

Adrian Lewis 3-0 John Walton
Adrian Lewis romped past John Walton to book his place in the second round of the Bullit World Darts Trophy with a straight sets victory. Lewis dropped just two legs in a comfortable win to set up a clash against fellow young gun Mark Webster in the last 16.

Scott Waites 3-2 James Wade
Scott Waites edged out James Wade in a five set encounter to move into round two at the Bullit World Darts Trophy. The Yorkshireman picked up the Dutch Open title earlier this year and continued his good form in the Netherlands with a gutsy comeback against Wade by overturning a 2-1 deficit.

Mervyn King 3-1 Colin Lloyd
Mervyn King powered past Colin Lloyd 3-1 to set up a second round date with Scott Waites at the Bullit World Darts Trophy. King repeated his success against Lloyd a month ago in the Stan Jams World Matchplay with a strong performance against Lloyd. He won six of the first seven legs in the match to create a 2-0 lead in sets, with Lloyd left reeling after landing three maximums and being sat on a finish in each leg he lost.
