*Dartplayers Australia*

Barry Jouannet was in the winners circle this weekend taking out the DFA’s Southern Highlands Classic. In the Men’s first semi we saw Mitchell Clegg up against Kevin Luland. Kevin took the match 5-3 for a place in the final. The second semi was between Barry Jouannet and Jamie Cotton. China was too strong with a 5-1 win earning him a place against Kevin.

China seemed on his way to a comprehensive victory when he raced out to a 5-1 lead in the best of 11 final. Kevin fought back well to get to 5-4, but Barry wasn’t to be denied his first title for a while and grabbed the 10th leg for a 6-4 victory. Oceanic Masters Champion Mitchell “Moosta” Clegg topped the weekend for 180’s, hitting a total of 18 maximums over the two days.
The ladies final was played between Bubs and Corrine Hammond. Both ladies threw excellent darts but it was Corrine’s day, winning the final 5-3.
