Taylor wins his 7th World Grand Prix title.
Phil Taylor is celebrating an incredible 7th World Grand Prix title, despite a lack lustre performance in the Dublin final.
“The Power” was never at full voltage?.more like battery power but he still managed to see off a brave challenge from Terry Jenkins, winning by 7 sets to 4. Sometimes you just have to win ugly and that is exactly what Taylor did!
It was Taylor’s 35th Major TV Final and he has won 33 of them, although this one certainly wasn’t one of his best. He also pockets a cheque for £25,000 for his triumph.

Manley needs more than one dart against Jenkins…
In his debut in a major televised final, Terry “Tucker” Jenkins crushed Peter Manley’s hopes at a World Grand Prix final match by defeating “one dart” 6-4. Jenkins also earned himself a spot in the Premier League.

Taylor, Priestly, Manley, and Jenkins through to Dublin semi-finals
In what Sky Sports called a “clinical” dart performance, Phil Taylor soundly defeated Roland Scholten 4-0. The Dutchman reportedly was suffering with a neck problem, but played through the pain despite the lopsided loss.
“I knew he wasn’t right and it’s your instinct to pounce on him as quickly as you can,” remarked the victorios Taylor. “Fair play to him though, he didn’t roll over. If Roland had been his normal self, I think you would have seen a cracking game tonight.”
