James Wade and Wayne Jones Win, Set Up Quarter Final Clash


WORLD number two James Wade and Wolverhampton favourite Wayne Jones will clash in the semi-finals of the Daily Mirror Grand Slam of Darts after winning thrilling quarter-final ties on Saturday afternoon.

Wade edged out 2008 runner-up Terry Jenkins 16-15 in a high-quality contest, which saw the players share 11 ton-plus finishes as the lead changed hands four times.

Taylor Takes Another Title, Defeats Wayne Jones to Win European Championship

PHIL TAYLOR claimed a third successive European Championship with a super 11-1 defeat of Wayne Jones at the Stadthalle in Dinslaken on Sunday night.

The world number one followed up his 11-10 win over Terry Jenkins in the semi-finals with a superb display to see off Jones by dropping just one leg in the final.
