Taylor Romps over Wizard to Win 15th World Championship Title

PHIL TAYLOR has become PDC World Darts Champion for the 15th time after defeating Simon Whitlock 7-3 in Sunday’s final.
With the title comes £200,000 in prize money, and having come through a very tight and tense finale against a very worthy opponent he revealed his delight at yet another milestone being reached. He told Sky’s Dave Clark:
“It’s everything I practice for and this was one of the greatest finals but it was hard work. He kept saying I’m coming after you and he did. It was brilliant, I’m so chuffed and over the moon.

SIMON WHITLOCK will attempt to take Phil Taylor’s Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship crown on Sunday night when the pair clash in the final at London’s Alexandra Palace.
Whitlock won through to the decider in the £1 million event with a brilliant 6-5 win over Raymond van Barneveld, the Australian coming from 4-2 down to take victory.
