Dennis Priestly Takes Second Tourney Win with US Open Victory
DENNIS PRIESTLEY claimed a second tournament win in a week with a 6-3 victory over Andy Hamilton in the final of the PDC US Open.
Priestley followed up last Sunday’s Canadian Players Championship triumph by taking the $12,000 title in Atlanta.

PHIL TAYLOR will begin the defence of his Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship title on the event’s opening night on Friday December 18.
Taylor claimed an unrivalled 14th World Championship with a 7-1 victory over Raymond van Barneveld in January, and has been unbeaten in the televised ranking events so far this year.

Priestley claimed the £5,000 title in Canada for a second successive year with an impressive return to action.
The veteran has not competed since the stanjames.com World Matchplay, when he lost in round one to Denis Ovens, but swept aside the field at the Hilton London Ontario.
Nicholson Takes Australian Open Players Championship
Paul Nicholson has won the Australian Open Players Championship, defeating Robert Thornton in the final.
Nicholson claimed the £5,000 winner’s cheque for the first time in a PDC Pro Tour event with the victory, in a repeat of the 2008 final.

DARTS FANS have been racing in record numbers to secure tickets for the 2010 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
The world’s richest darts tournament will be held from December 18-January 3 at Alexandra Palace in London, with 70 players competing for the first £1 million prize fund.
