The two-time World Champion came from 5-0 down to defeat John Part 6-5 at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet, following up his fight back to see off Steve Maish in round one with an even greater display.

The coral.co.uk Players Championship begins Friday and will see some of the sports top darters competing for a prize fund of £200,000
The new, ITV-televised event marks the return of darts to the Circus Tavern, and involves the leading players from all Players Championship tournaments held during 2008 including Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld, James Wade, Mervyn King, Vincent van der Voort and others.
