Co Stompe Has Impressive PDC Debut in Las Vegas Desert Classic
Co Stompe earned his debut in a PDC major tournament as one of the first eight qualifiers for the PartyPoker.net Las Vegas Desert Classic VII.
The Dutchman moved onto the PDC circuit in mid-June, and has made an immediate impression to win a place in the first round of the Desert Classic, which begins on Wednesday.

In a semi final matchup that he won’t soon forget, Gary “Mawler” Mawson has triumphed over Raymond van Barneveld, and will now face James Wade in the final of the UK Open.
Earlier today Barneveld defeated Phil Taylor in the quarter finals for a third year in a row, but this match saw The Man miss double after double, with Mawson ready to pounce and capitolize on Barneveld’s mistakes.
“What a feeling” Mawson said. “This will stay with me forever!”
Mawson’s advance to the final round also grants him a place in the Grand Slam of Darts for the next two years, and his defeat of Barneveld also means that Phil Taylor will jump past Barneveld in the order of merit to reclaim the World Number 1 spot as well.

Phil Taylor hit his fourth nine-darter in the Blue Square UK Open on Saturday afternoon, achieving the incredible feat with a 180 followed by a 177 and a 144 checkout, finishing on double 12. Taylor was in a match with Jamie Harvey in the fourth round of the tournament at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton, and defeated Harvey 9-1.
