Kevin Painter and Adrian Lewis Could Face Suspension
Painter and Lewis were scheduled to square off at the oche for the quarter final match of the Amsterdam Casino Open Holland Masters, but when their verbal bickering to each other escalated to a more physical confrontation, security ended up escorting Painter out of the area and now both players could face a three month ban from the sport.

Barneveld Defeats Colin Osborne to Win Holland Masters
Raymond van Barneveld won yesterday’s Amsterdam Casino Open Holland Masters to take his first PDC Pro Tour win of 2008. His 3-0 whitewash of Colin Osborne in the final netted the darting Dutchman the £5,000 first prize for the tournament.

Taylor Moves to Top of Premier League Table
Phil Taylor is now unbeaten in nine matches, and his latest 8-1 triumph over Wayne Mardle moves him to the top of the Premier League tables. Barneveld beat James Wade 8-6 and secured a spot in the Premier League Playoffs.

PDC Launch Innovative Darts Tournament to be Internet Based Broadcast
In a world first for darts, all aspects of the tournament, which will take place in September and October, will be optimized specifically for an internet and betting audience, with matches scheduled between 11am and 9pm to maximize both workplace and home viewing.

James Wade and Phil Taylor sealed their places in the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts play-offs at the Wembley Arena on Thursday night.
Wade maintained his lead at the top of the league table with two weeks remaining with an 8-6 defeat of Peter Manley, taking the last three legs for victory after trailing for long periods in a tight tussle.

NUTS TV to Screen 2008 PDC US Open
PDC:
THE 2008 PDC US Open will be screened live in the UK on Nuts TV on May 17th and 18th as part of a package of darts being shown on the channel.
Nuts TV was launched in September 2007 after being inspired by the number one best-selling men’s lifestyle magazine Nuts.
