Eight Winmau World Masters Seeds Will Not Receive WDF Ranking Points.

WDF EXECUTIVE STATEMENT

The recent format change in the 2007 Winmau World Masters means that the event is no longer compatible with the points allocation used for the WDF World Ranking System. The WDF system does not allow for the allocation of points to players who only take part in the closing stages of a WDF Ranked event. In an attempt to alleviate this problem, and be as fair as possible to the players, the WDF Executive has determined that WDF Ranking points for the 2007 Winmau World Masters will not be awarded to the eight seeded players who enter the competition for the stage finals.

These eight players are Martin Adams, Tony O’Shea, Gary Robson, Martin Atkins, Ted Hankey, Darryl Fitton, John Walton, and Co Stompe.
