Defending BDO World Champion Mark Webster is out of the Lakeside tournament as he suffers a 4-0 whitewash defeat to John “Boy” Walton today.

After the match Webster commented on the rumors of his possible PDC switch.

He said:

I don’t know what I am going to do this year. At present I’d probably rule it out but things can change. I will always do what is best for Mark Webster.

Everyone says the BDO is a stepping stone to the PDC but I do not see it like that. I need to get back to work and get back to reality.

Walton’s will now face Ted “The Count” Hankey who saw off Ross Montgomery with a 4-1 victory.
