Wade and Taylor victorious in Matchplay Semi-finals

James Wade in Stan James Matchplay victoryWade has risen steadily through the PDC rankings over the past two years and now he has come of age on the big stage.

In one of the greatest games in the tournaments history, Wade battled back from at one point 5-1 down to eventually take the win with 19 legs to Scholten’s 17.

The second match of the evening saw Phil Taylor defeat Andy Hamilton 17-11. Both of the Stoke residants battled it out in what Planetdarts.tv called “an epic all-Stoke contest.”
